Mating Interface Review
Depending on the application, alignment pins may engage directly with a prepared hole or with a suitable locating or slotted bushing. The mating geometry should be reviewed together with the pin. Requirements may include different pin lengths, locating diameters, lead-in geometry, operating configurations, mounting features, material or finish, subject to sourcing feasibility.
